Class 2 - Slight limitation of physical activity
Ordinary Physical activity results in symptoms
Class 3 - Marked limitation of physical activity
Comfortable at rest, but less than ordinary activity causes symptoms.
Class 4 - Unable to engage in any physical activity without discomfort
Symptoms present even at rest.
Most common symptoms of heart disease -
Dyspnoea ,Chest pain, Palpitations,Syncope,Fatigue.
Risk Factors :
Overweight,Pot belly,Stress,Increased Low density lipoproteins,Decrease in blood High density lipoprotein (HDL)levels,Sedentary life,Psychological problems,Chronic infections of long history,Old age,History of Previous Cardio-vascular disease,Below the age of 45 - Males are more prone to heart disease than females (females have high levels of High density Lipoprotein-also called 'Cardio-protective Lipoprotein.Because women in reproductive age group have more Estrogen in their blood which Increases HDL levels.)But,after 45 years both the sexes are equally predisposed to get Heart disease (that is after Menopause ,Estrogen levels fall down-leading to decreased HDL levels in women) ,Of course Diabetes and Hypertension are well known risk factors.
Protective/Inhibitory factors/Prevention :
Exercise,Avoiding sedentary habits,Avoidance stress,Vitamin c , Coco powder and other Anti_oxidants,Weight reduction,Timely diet and timely sleep.
