Linus Pauling and Vitamin C

Do you know the only man on earth who has won two unshared Noble Prizes?  It was Linus Pauling .  1954- Nobel Prize for Chemistry -   “for his research into the nature of the chemical bond and its application to the elucidation of the structure of complex substances." 1962- Nobel Prize for Peace (actually given in 1963): For his Crusade to stop atmospheric testing of Atomic bombs. He persuaded US, Russia and Britain and the result of his efforts was the October 10 1963 Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.  But most people do not know that this great man had relentlessly fought with the Medical Establishment (Big Pharma, corporate media and corpora scientists)  for the medical benefits of Vitamin C. Let me quote you Dr. Klenner here, who by the way cured numerous diseases like Polio, Multiple Sclerosis, SLE, Hepatitis and other chronic "untreatable" diseases with the help of Vitamins and Supplements, most importantly Vitamin C- " Some Doctors would s...

Some Good Ayurvedic Destinations In India

Here I am providing details of Ayurvedic Hospitals/Clinics that I have known for few years. I have seen some very amazing results among some of the patients I have referred to these Clinics.   1. Karuna Foundation, Ottapalam, Kerala . Ottapalam is a small town near Palakkad Junction, Kerala. The consultant there, Swami Nirmalanandagiri, whom I have met a few times, has a deep knowledge in disease parthenogenesis and clinical details. I was astonished when he biochemically explained me how the white flour (maida) gets stuck in the body and how the body does not know how to deal with it. I have personally seen an Autism child treated there. I have seen a terminal Colon cancer patient who was totally cured. I have seen a SLE patient with Renal failure who got totally well within one month of treatment (by the way this patient was my relative and had spent a month in ICU of NIMHANS and St. John's Banglore, but did not respond a bit).        ...

Papaya Leaves and Dengue

Recently Dengue has spread havoc all over the country thanks to "News" channels and papers. Looks like every time a disease breaks in, Media gets all excited and hyper about it. Its festive mood all over the media houses. Thats what I feel, its my opinion. Now coming to the point, I would like to share a simple tip which I personally found useful while dealing with Dengue patients. Dengue can cause simple viral fever which subsides on its own over a few days or it can turn into the dangerous Dengue Hemorrhagic fever. Conventional medicine does not have much to offer to treat this condition except for giving supportive care and waiting for the body to overcome the infection.  I had first heard about this Papaya leaf tip for dengue from a patient while I was working in a tertiary care hospital few years back. This patient was an old man who was admitted because of Pneumonia or Acute exacerbation of COPD (I dont remember the exact diagnosis, but it was lung related disease). ...

Electromagnetic Fields and Cancer

STUDY CITES INCIDENCE OF CANCER NEAR POWER LINES By ELIZABETH KOLBERT, Special to the New York Times Published: July 9, 1987 ALBANY, July 8—  A study issued today by the New York State Health Department says that children with leukemia or brain cancer are more likely than healthy children to be living in homes where the exposure to the magnetic fields generated by electric power lines is high. In addition to the higher incidence of childhood cancer, the study suggests that exposure to a magnetic field causes behavorial changes in laboratory animals. Researchers were quick to note that they could not explain the higher incidence of cancer and that the study did not establish a direct cause-and-effect link. Other variables not measured by the study could be factors in the development of cancer, for which the incidence among children is 1 in 10,000 each year. ''It is not obvious what a mechanism of inducing cancer might be,'' said Dr. Dav...
